Life challenges or transitions can be overwhelming, and feelings of loneliness, sadness, anxiety, self-doubt, and irritability may increase during such times. My work focuses on helping individuals through periods of high stress and difficulty, finding deeper emotional stability within oneself, reflecting on old patterns and wounds, and building a wider range of emotional expression. Everyone’s life is unique and complex and together we will explore your past, build mindful awareness in the present, and develop skills to achieve your future goals. This exploration will deepen your understanding of yourself and increase self-acceptance and self-compassion. This process can lead you to feel more joyful and living a more fulfilling life. My approach to psychotherapy is guided by the body-mind awareness, so I incorporate Somatic Experiencing techniques to heal from any kind of trauma and to improve emotional regulation. Each client is unique, as is their healing, so I integrate different approaches that center on the client's specific needs. My style is warm, curious, collaborative, open and conversational. I am bilingual, so I provide services in both Spanish and/or English. My specialties include relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, work stress and the immigrant experience and bi-cultural identity.
