Dr. Masha Brown is a clinical psychologist in Oakland. Her approach to psychotherapy uses clients' strengths and is collaborative, warm, and client-centered. Dr. Brown believes in tailoring her therapeutic work to suit the unique needs of each person in order to create a space conducive to healing and facilitating the change that the client desires. She integrates cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, relational, and multicultural theoretical perspectives in her work. Dr. Brown has worked with people of diverse backgrounds and life experience, including victims of crime, veterans, individuals facing significant medical challenges, and people going through relationship challenges and transitions. Dr. Brown's professional interests include trauma, depression and anxiety, relationship and family of origin concerns, and perinatal and post-partum issues.
