Professional Statement

Dr. Clancy Cavnar is a licensed clinical psychologist whose work is influenced by mindfulness, psychodynamic theory, and transpersonal psychology. She works with both adults and children. Dr. Cavnar has extensive training and experience working with addictions, trauma, sexual minorities, intense spiritual experiences, and mood disorders. She will adapt her approach to allow the fullest expression of her clients to unfold and to give space and attention to the parts that need to heal, incorporating body awareness, mindfulness, grounding, and deep listening to assist clients in accessing deeper levels of wisdom.
